Usually, when your heating isn’t uniform, it comes down to two things: the spectral output and how centered that filament actually is inside your infrared lamps. The truth about heat distribution We build our replacement lamps to fit the exact footprint of OEM ovens, but the real magic is in the millimeters. Think about it. These high-wattage quartz halogen tubes need the filament to be dead-center. If it’s off by even a tiny bit, you get hot spots. Simple as that. To fix this, we use a high-purity quartz envelope. It stops the lamp from absorbing its own heat, meaning more of that short-wave radiation actually hits the PET instead of just baking your lamp housing.
