Just make sure your power supply matches the lamp’s rated voltage, or you’ll deal with annoying flickering and early failures. The build quality We use high-purity quartz glass because it lets the IR energy through without fighting it. Some of our tubes even have special coatings. These shift the heat so it stays on the lacquer where it belongs, rather than wasting energy heating up the middle of the wood plank. As for installation? It’s a breeze. We use standard R7s or Sk15 connectors, so these are true drop-in replacements. You won’t have to spend your weekend rewiring racks. These connectors are tough—they can handle the constant vibration of a factory floor—just keep the contact pins clean so you don’t get any hot spots. A quick heads-up on trade-offs More heat density means a better gloss and a faster cure. That’s the win. But the trade-off is the stress it puts on your cooling. If you decide to upgrade to a higher-wattage lamp, your exhaust fans need to keep up. If the housing gets too hot, the quartz will eventually fail.
